We believe at Breath of Life Church that giving is a response out of a grateful heart because of how much God has already given to us. With much of our experiences moving toward online platforms, we wanted to provide a convenient way for you to give from the comfort of your own home or on your mobile device.
GIVE ONLINE
You can give online from any computer or web based mobile device. After entering the amount of your gift and the frequency: One Time, Weekly, Monthly, Every Two Weeks, or Twice a Month. You'll be asked to fill in your Name, Email, and a Password to create a Log-in to make future giving a breeze. Your off and running. You'll only have to go through this process one-time to ensure a simple giving experience in the future.
GIVE BY TEXT MESSAGE
To give by text message simply text your Donation $ Amt. to 84321, if its the first time you've given by text, you will be prompted to enter your personal information and card or bank acct. information.
THERE ARE SEVERAL BENEFITS TO ONLINE GIVING FOR BOTH YOU AND THE CHURCH:
First Fruits – In Proverbs 3:9 we are taught to honor the Lord with the “First Fruits” of our labor. By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify you can ensure that your First Fruits are given back to God.
Simplicity – You will not need to remember if you gave this month or send in your offering checks when you are out of town.
Security – Online giving is more secure than giving with a check in that an electronic gift can’t be lost or stolen.
No Distractions – Instead of needing to worry about writing your contribution check during the service, you can be fully engaged with the worship service, knowing that you have already given your offering.
Helping BOLC Admin/Acctng – Online contributions require less processing for our accounting staff since the information is logged and deposited automatically.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: IS IT SAFE TO GIVE ONLINE?
Yes. In many ways giving online is safer than writing a check because an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen. The security of the system is continually managed by Stripe Payments which uses PCI Compliant technology. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 - which is the most stringent level of certification available.
Q: WHAT TYPES OF BANK ACCOUNTS CAN I GIVE FROM?
You can give online from your bank account via an ACH transaction. You can also give using MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover.
Q. CAN I USE A DEBIT CARD?
You can use a debit check card from Visa or MasterCard, but please note that debit card transactions incur the same amount of fees as if using a credit card. ACH bank drafts can be used if you'd like to give from your checking accounts; the fees incurred by BOLC for ACH are significantly less.
Q: ARE THERE ANY FEES INVOLVED WITH GIVING ONLINE?
Not to you. You will not pay any fees with an online gift. In addition, online gifts are a more cost-efficient way for the church to process donations. However, please note that Credit Card transactions incur higher fees for Breath of Life Church in comparison to giving from your checking account (ACH).
Q: CAN I MAKE A ONE-TIME CONTRIBUTION?
Yes. The system allows you the option of either making a one-time contribution or setting up a recurring contribution. For a one-time contribution, you can designate that the contribution should be made immediately or, for both one-time and recurring contributions, you can schedule the contributions to come out of your bank account on the date(s) specified by you.
Q: IF I WANT TO SET-UP A RECURRING GIFT, WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS FOR FREQUENCY OF MY GIFT?
For recurring gifts, you have the option of giving Weekly, Twice a Month, Every Two Weeks or Once a Month.
Q: CAN I CHANGE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR THE AMOUNT OR THE FREQUENCY OF MY GIFT ONCE I HAVE SET IT UP?
Yes. To change your personal information, simply log into the giving system (Subsplash) using your username and password (that you created when you signed up for online giving) and make the necessary changes in the system. Once you have access and you've logged in, you can edit your information and check your giving statements.
Q: CAN I REVIEW MY DONATION HISTORY ONLINE?
Yes & No. You can check your Online giving history through your Subsplash login, but any other giving will not be able to be accessed through your login. However, you are always welcome to send an email to accounting@bolcflagstaff.com to inquire as to your giving history.
Q: WILL I STILL RECEIVE REGULAR CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS FROM THE CHURCH?
Yes. The church will continue to send year-end contribution statements to your address on file for tax purposes.
Q: WHEN WILL CONTRIBUTIONS BE TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT?
Contributions will be taken from your specified bank account within 48 business hours if it is a Debit/Credit card and 2-3 days if an ACH. This time frame allows time for the contribution to process through your bank and the church’s bank. If the date of your contribution falls on a weekend or a holiday, the transaction will be initiated on the next banking day. Often the contribution will be displayed in your giving history about 5-7 business days from the initial transaction.
Q: CAN I DESIGNATE MY GIFT TO A PARTICULAR CAUSE?
Yes. You can designate your gift to go toward tithes and offerings (General) or any of our special offerings or initiatives, such as Kingdom Builders (if they are available at the time).
Q: HOW WILL I KNOW THAT I SET UP MY GIFT CORRECTLY?
Immediately after submitting your contribution, you will receive an e-mail verifying your contribution.
Q: DOES IT MATTER WHICH INTERNET BROWSER I USE?
No. Any browser will work.
Q: WILL I BE ABLE TO GIVE TO SPECIAL BOLC CAMPAIGNS (ADVENT CONSPIRACY, RELIEF EFFORTS, ETC.) ONLINE?
During times when these campaigns are occurring, you will be able to give a one-time contribution to support the given initiative or campaign.

SECURITY
At Breath of Life Church, we use Subsplash Giving, to enable online giving. Subsplash uses Stripe Payments to be able to offer the online giving feature. Their system allows us to provide the online giving service for you to make donations online. They provide all of the security for this online giving system. This system is used by churches throughout the country and has been fully tested by them.
